Please mark your calendar TENTATIVELY for Saturday, April 20th, 2024 for the 2024 ICTM State Math Contest next year! The website will be updated in the coming months.
Each year the Indiana Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) organizes the ICTM Indiana State Mathematics Contest. The contest usually takes place on a Saturday near the end of April and registration usually takes place during March. Multiple contest sites throughout the state are provided. Local host sites will recognize local top performers (1st, 2nd, 3rd places and top 25%). After all scores in the state are processed, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and top 5% state performers in each exam category will be recognized at the ICTM Outstanding Scholars Award Ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse in June. We hope teachers and parents will encourage students to participate. The cost for registration is $7.

ICTM is dedicated to supporting Indiana public and private school teachers. Parents or guardians will be asked to register their students for the contest, with the understanding that ICTM will ask for each child's math teacher's name and email address to verify registration status.
A student should be registered for the test category that matches the course in which they are CURRENTLY enrolled. Students may not participate or register for a test category out of sequence (Order: Pre-algebra, Algebra I/Integrated I, Geometry/Integrated II, Algebra II/Integrated III, Comprehensive).
There is a non-refundable $7.00 participant fee for each student. Participants will be registered by their parents or guardians. ICTM reserves the right to verify each participant's school and math class enrollment to ensure that each participant is taking the appropriate test.
