The Indiana Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) encourages local schools to recognize students who excel in mathematics. To that end, we have created Outstanding Achievement Awards for Excellence in Mathematics. Individual schools are encouraged to select recipients based on locally established criteria. In the past, schools have used criteria that include grade point average, state test scores or standardized test percentile, and/or involvement in extra-curricular mathematics activities. You may download a certificate signed by Christine Taylor, ICTM president, by clicking on the link below. You may print as many certificates as you wish. We also provide a press release that you may submit to your local newspaper. We ask that you send a list of the names and grade levels of your recipients to us at roachm@myips.org or provide us a copy of the press release.
